AnchorPoint Accounting Systems is a bookkeeping and accounting firm based in Birmingham, Alabama. This notice covers the website only. Information handled inside a client engagement is governed by the engagement agreement.

What this site collects

There are two ways information reaches AnchorPoint through this site, and both are ones you start yourself:

The contact form. First name, last name, email address, telephone number, business name, the service you select, and the description you write. Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms, the hosting provider for this site, and delivered to AnchorPoint by email.
Appointment scheduling. The scheduling buttons open Calendly, a third party service. Anything you enter there is collected by Calendly under its own privacy policy and shared with AnchorPoint so the appointment can be held.

This site runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and sets no cookies of its own. The hosting provider keeps standard server request logs, as any web host does.

Please do not send sensitive information

The inquiry form is not a secure channel. Do not include passwords, bank or credit card account numbers, Social Security or EIN numbers, tax documents, or payroll records in it. Describe the situation in general terms and secure arrangements for documents and system access will be made once an engagement begins.

How the information is used

Only to respond to your inquiry, to hold a scheduled conversation, and to discuss whether AnchorPoint is a fit for your business. Inquiries are answered within one business day.

Your information is not sold, rented, or traded. It is not used for advertising, and it is not shared with anyone beyond the service providers named above, except where the law requires it.

How long it is kept

Inquiry correspondence is retained while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward in case you get back in touch. Ask and it will be deleted.

Your requests

Write to info@anchorpointaccountingsystems.com to ask what information is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Requests are answered within a reasonable period.
